Very good but I have a few questions if you don't mind.
Did the non-commercial aspect of the BBC prevent you from mentioning the most famous of alcoholic feats of the raspberry?

Is the Blackcap you mention the same as the North American Blackberry?
I know it was once a trade dispute as the similarity between the Saskatoon berry and European berries (between the EU and Canada) but doesn't the Amelanchiar alnifolia deserve a mention? 
Well perhaps not, since it was found not to be a relative but in my little corner of Canada there is the Salmonberry or Rubus Spectabilis which is a close relative. The delicate flavour is reminiscent of the Raspberry but often sweeter.
