A Conversation for Cat Food
Cats who aren't normal
Sky-Blue Pink Posted Jul 2, 2000
My cat occasionally likes strong cheddar but only if I feed tiny pieces to her by hand. What she really craves is anything containing vanilla - vanilla yoghurts, vanilla ice cream, vanilla cakes... Her normal diet is tinned tuna, and fish-flavoured dry catfood, and since she is still lively, playful and glossy-coated at 14 years old, it seems to be OK for her. She has "proper" catfood now and then to offset total tuna boredom. She tends to lick the jelly or gravy off and leave all the solid bits.
Our family's cats have all eaten peas from time to time.
My cat co-exists quite happily with blackbirds (unless half-a-dozen start shouting at her at once which causes her to flee indoors). She prefers hunting elastic bands, and is fascinated by worms.

My kitty is so cute- whenever one of us comes home she runs and lays on the floor in front of the door and stretches out so it looks like she's been laying there forever waiting for you even though you know she was napping somewhere else two seconds ago.

My kitty also thinks her reflection is another cat (of course) and will try to attack the mirror and look around it to find the other cat.
