That's why I respect cats so much more than dogs...dignity.

Thank you. Cats don't eat penguins, right?

They definately don't eat large penguins - small ones could be at risk - though they are probably have more to fear from ferrets, rats dogs, humans, seals, sharks, oil, old age

I believe that the smallest adult penguins are about the same size as large cats. Hatchlings, however, might be at risk.

Hi Greebo!
So you're intimidating Penguin Girl now, are you?
*Gwennie winks at Penguin Girl and whispers that she's quite safe as long as there's a copious supply of doughnuts, cream, cakes, milk and lots of other goodies available*
I'm currently owned by five cats and have been owned by another eight over the years. All of them aren't normal in one way or another - probably a reflection on me! Either their taste in food, playing and behaving like dogs, walking on a harness and lead or accompanying me to the pub or trips away.
The comments about cats tastes in food are so true, though. In the past, I've fallen for the trick of stocking up on a food which they like when it's been on special offer and they've instantly gone off it, leaving me with a cupboard of said food and neighbours who think I don't feed my cats when they go off raiding neighbours' kitchens!

Oh yes - quite true. Cats are soooo inteligent... and as far as the dogs are concerned, they're also boss!

I have a cat and a dog that see each other as equals and treat each other with respect. It is quite lovely to see.

My menagerie usually get along with each other, although one cat in particular loves to irritate the dogs! He just knows he's superior!

Cats who aren't normal
GNP Aaron Posted Apr 26, 2000
At a friend's party recently, I observed a cat and a dog. The cat was sitting in the doorway between the kitchen and the loungeroom. The dog was in the loungeroom, and was just being served dinner in the kitchen. The dog would run up to the doorway barking, see the cat, and run away again. Then it would run back to the doorway, see the cat and run away. This happened 6-7 times before the cat moved away and the dog ran frantically past.
Later, someone who was sitting on the floor got up to look at something. Out of the entire floor in the entire house, the Cat then chose to sit in the exact position held by the person. When the person went to sit down again, he saw the cat, and went to move it away, but stopped at the last minute. When questioned, he responded quietly, "I ain't moving that damn thing. It scared that dog and it scares me"
I am now convinced that this cat controls the entire world.
Lance.
