Destructive Animals

Man is also generally regarded as being the most destructive animal on the Earth. Along with mice & rats (which he helped transfer to almost every continent on the planet), he has exteminated more animals than anything since the meteor which wiped out the dinosaurs. Not realizing that he is on a one-way trip to extinction, he keeps going at it.
This is why some people believe that aliens have never come to planet Earth, and intend to keep away "until the air gets cleaner".
