Yes as a true TFC player I must agree with everything this person is saying. Except one thing, I've played games where it's 8 to 1 and I've won and seen other people win on the 1 team.

Absolutely. I've done it myself. (well, not really, but I've won games where every other player on my team was as useful as a bump on a log.) And I disagree about the ideal number of people on a team being 6. I've played games with as many as 12-16 people on a side, and they are as fun or more fun than the smaller games, albeit with more chaos.

Hmmm... it's a matter of opinion, I s'pose. I reckon six is about right for decent tactical play... and not too demanding on slow PCs/internet connections...
If you want a chaotic and somewhat epic battle on a public server, though, twelve-a-side might be about right
