TFC is for wussies. Now, anyway. It was good for a while, but now it's inhabited by off-duty Counter-Strikers. LAME!
TF for Quakeworld was always better, simply because it was the original. But then the Quakeworld source code was released. Oops. Cheat-o-rama. *sigh* Besides, the only servers running QWTF servers these days play Mega.
Speaking of which, this entry need to include some bits about the modifications to the modification. 
Talk about the brief history of such things as MegaTF, Deadlode, and Shaka's Custom TF, all for Quakeworld. It couldn't hurt to include at least a brief mention of the endless TF-clones for other games. For example, Weapons Factory, Unreal Fortress, Quake 3 Fortress, Deus Ex Fortress... err... basically just Fortress.
If you need some help, I can try to drag some of these things from the back of my brain. I used to be really into the TF community for a bit. Almost ended up meeting Bundy once, but that ended up being rather impossible due to circumstances. I also had the great honour of being kicked out of Clan Planetfortress. Well... not so much "kicked out" as "asked to leave and go start my own clan". Which I did. And then there were those periods of time when I did news and updates for Brimstone.Org and Ethereal Team Fortress, not to mention running my own site, TFRommel. So, yeah, I know what's up, if you need help. But, hey, whatever.
I doubt anyone's much interested in TF anymore, given that TFC is kinda crap now. *sigh*
