A Conversation for Real Ale

Men with beards????!!!!

Real smiley - ale is definitely NOT just for men with beards. I am not a man and I don't have a beard and I wouldn't drink lager if you paid me. A decent pint (or so) of well-brewed cask bitter and I'm a very happy, non-bearded female. If you want a fizzy drink then drink lager, want a decent drink, smiley - ale

There's a lot of us non-beardy Y-chromosone-free real ale drinkers about. I for one wouldn't be seen dead with a Bacardi Breezer.

I've got a 'tache but that hardly counts. Anyway, it was useful for straining out the chewy bits.

I'm sort of the opposite; I'm male, I have a bushy beard and I can tolerate lager quite well. Just not the vile stuff that masquerades as 'Australian' lager. Given that I'm a penniless student, this is slightly awkward. Oh well, there's always home-brewing...
smiley - cheers
