Loved the Dutchie phrases!!
My favourite is 'Throw the horse over the fence some hay.' Living painfully near the Amish homeland of Lancaster County, I hear folks talking Dutchie all the time. It's enough to make me want to wear a broad-rimmed black hat and drive a buggy. 
And if you're ever in Eastern PA, the Crayola factory tour is fun for the kiddies. It's one of my kids' favourite family excursions.
