Getting rid of garlic smell

If you want to get rid of the smell of garlic from anything (eg: chopping board) just soak it in cold tea. It might stain a bit, but that doesn't really matter when you're just using it to chop things on. I have tried this and it does work - try it on a bowl you've had garlicy salad in!

Wow, that's great!
But, what about morning-after breath?

To get rid of the smell from your hands after cutting garlic, 'wash' your hands under cold water, and rub something made from stainless steel along your hands. A good way to do this, is cleaning the knife you just used with cold water. Two good things: you have now a clean knife, and your hands don't smell anymore.
