A Conversation for Garlic

Question about editors stuff

There were some interesting notes about this article in the "Editors Recommendation for Thursday" for the 13th Jan. Is there a way of seeing these notes at some future time when the article is accessed?
Or do they die the day afterwards? (of course, this applies to all articles, but I just liked this one a little bit more)

John the gardener says, "Free Tibet!"

Yep.

"First domesticated in the Kirgiz desert of southern Siberia, garlic's pungent influence spread to many ancient civilisations including Egypt, where they gave it to the builders of the pyramids to nourish and increase their strength and stamina (or perhaps they gave it to them because it was cheap).

Garlic also gets a mention in the Bible in the Book of Numbers, 'We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic'. So perhaps the Egyptians weren't so stingy after all.

Without a doubt, though, garlic is good for you - it combats high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and germs (it's antiseptic), and wards off vampires... but, unfortunately, due to it's 'odorous' properties it can also ward off your friends."

How that?smiley - smiley
