We've recently become the companions of a Golden Retriever pup, after the previous beloved, Edda (collie/terrie cross) passed away.

Woolie Bear (that is what she looked like at 10 weeks) is completely different, which is probably a good thing.She does indeed retrieve just about anything, unfortunately this includes our cats, who are not impressed!

We live on a farm, so she gets lots of exercise, her favourite activities are helping to chop wood and playing with her best friend Hootoo the donkey...bizarre animal bond there, she circles round him, then eventually runs out of steam, they stare at each other as if meditating, the donkey licks her, she licks him back. When we call her to come from the field, she does, but donkey then goes into mourning "He-Haw, where is my friend?"

She is very energetic and growing around an inch a day i reckon! And, ow, ow, ow, those puppy teeth...i thought they were supposed to have soft mouths, i have the scars to prove otherwise!
