This was the infamous demonstration of a quadrophonic radio system at the Ideal Home Exhibition, where the demonstrator turned it on 'live' in front of a 2,000 audience, only for the words "...tits like coconuts" to emanate across the room at several dozen decibels.
The perils of not checking the Radio 4 schedules beforehand.
