You could incorporate "zoophilia" as a synonym for "bestiality"... a naive person thought this meant "a person who loves going to zoos" , which I suppose gets you partway there...

Actually, bestiality refers to having random sex with animals with no regard for their feelings; essentially, using them as dildos/living sex dolls/whatever. Zoophilia, on the other hand, is love, respect, and affection shown by a human towards another animal to a degree normally shown only to other humans. This relationship will generally be consummated, but it in order to be truly considered zoophilia, both parties must be consensual, and the non-human generally approaches the human after the human gives the mating signal. In bestaility, by contrast, the human simply inserts on participant's penis into an orifice in another.

On a related note, why is there a specific word for necrophilia?

Or, to put it another way, who had sex with a corpse and then asked someone what the name was for what they were doing?
