Although my eldest son is in the throes of his GCSE's I shall bookmark this entry for a couple of years time.

some tips are very useful. But sometimes you cannot spend too much time to save a little as a busy student. I would like to see those tips measured by ratio of money and time. Maybe it is not practical. anyway, some tips, like doing the laundry in one load and with cold water, are very smart. thanks.

Some of them are good practical advice and I guess a few are a little , but it depends how extreme you want to be. There were some suggestions for money saving that I didn't put in because I thought they were too extreme, but you have to make your own mind up I guess.
