Apologies for such a self-indulgent tone today, but for one day only the h2g2 Talking Point is dedicated to the King of Cool, Mr Sam Semple, who is leaving h2g2 and the BBC to pursue his other career - that of a talented singer/songwriter.

Sam joined h2g2 right back at the start and has been a constant source of inspiration and motivation to the team ever since. So today, we're asking you, the h2g2 Community, to pass on your regards to Sam, and to wish him all the very best for the future.
