You can't call the British Queen Ms,
T'aint as nice as Elizabeth is,

How about another try:
The bright son of Asimov, Isaac
could solve algorithms with one hand behind his back
But despite this addiction
he switched to science fiction
"I make more money writing as a hack."
Oh well, leave limericks to the Brits...

I'm a world child but my mum was born in Lincolnshire... but even if Asimov wasn't English the truth remains "the English are best" (at least in things limerickal!

Okay. I might let you have that. However, I reckon that the English would be the worst at Limericks in a foreign language.

I think I might be able to manage a Portuguese limerick:
Um marinheiro de Lisboa
viajou a Cascais por canoa,
Voltou a correr
Com as mãos a tremer
e um tubarão perto á proa.
Translation...
A mariner from Lisbon
traveled to Cascais by canoe
He returned in a hurry
with his hands trembling
and a shark near the prow.
Pat, pat on back. Whew that was tough.
