Idaho Potatos?

I lived in Idaho from the time I was born to the time I left for bootcamp and I never ate an "Idaho" potato I only know of potatos from Washington, which are'nt that shabby! Idaho exports all it's potatos to other states because you make more money that way. Once we tried to grow Idaho potatos in out garden... they were about the size of a kiwi fruit when they came up... of corse I lived in north Idaho where the soil is rocky and not the best for potato growing...
