What's the difference between erotic and kinky?

Erotic is using a feather, kinky is using the whole duck!

It's interesting that the author hasn't considered the language used here - 'submissive' shouldn't be used in a list along with 'passive' when the next sentance talks about women being dominant.

I think that you are using submissive in a way that clashes with the use of the word 'dominant' in the next sentence. The are opposites, so saying 'passive, submissive' doesn't give me the idea that I think is meant. I assume by submissive that we're talking about BDSM, and I don't think that we are, until the next sentence.

When i use the word dominant, i am partly refering to BDSM but not entirely. After all, it is possible for a woman to take a leading role in sex without this involving bondage, discipline or sado masochism. Just as it is possible to portray women as being passive and submissive without this qualifying as BDSM. Perhaps dominant was the wrong word to use considering the subject matter. In saying that, other people have read this and understood my meaning, so i stand by it.

I have recently discovered that it is possible for a woman to be submissive without being passive and believe that I have captured the beauty of this in a recent painting which i would regard as niether errotic or pornographic. It about the essence of love and giving.....
