Ape
She's an ape who thinks and laughs and cries
And likes to dance and watch the skies,
To sing, and see her lover's eyes,
So the troop drove her away,
Her troop drove her away.
He's followed, but her crazy brain
Had led her to a treeless plain,
To make this grassland her domain
She'd have to fight and stay,
Yes she'd have to fight and stay.
One day descendants of this pair,
Will dig and find her lying there,
And they'll know the reason why they care
In every bone they trace,
Every bone they trace.
'Cause they're dreamers and they laugh and cry,
They sing and dance and watch the skies,
And look into their lovers' eyes
And they make love face-to-face,
Yes they make love face-to-face.
