I found a small error in my work and I'd hate to see it sitting there looking at me and smirking
If you, the editor, could just paste this over the the paragraph in question I'd be one greatful human
In the summer of 1955 Mad appeared on the newsstands as a 25 cent magazine or a "slick" as it was called back then. Two things occured that never happened before, a comic turned into a magazine and the issue sold out, a second printing was published. In 1956 Alfred E. Neuman appeared for the first time on the cover of Mad Magazine and was running for the office of the President of the United States. Gaines would have to appear in Supreme Court to acquire the rights to Alfred's likeness, which had been around since the early 1800's and there was a question of copyrights. Gaines protected his magazine before a court judge on a number of occasions.

if you are refering to the the one saying my intro paragraph was incorrect, you'll notice that the last sentence, I believe, puts the whole introduction in the past tense.
If I think of anything else I'll try to get it to you before anything final happens.
On another subject, if this article makes it to the front page, Shea the Sarcastic has informed me she would be happy to do the artwork for it I'd be happy with this too
Thanks
