A Conversation for Ultima - the Computer Game
Thoughts of a diseased UO Veteran

Hooray! I, for one, am sick and tired of people bad-mouthing UO. I have an awful computer and connect using AOL, but I barely ever see lag. The game-play is extremely solid, as well as the method of gaining skills (i.e. getting higher skills by actually USING those skills, not just "Oh, I've gone up a level, I think I will somehow learn a new skill."). The only problem I could see with the game is the people. Note: People CAN be jerks. The only way to remedy this is to actually get real friends to play the game with you, as well as make friends in the game. UO is a wholly addictive and enjoyable game.

I recently ordered a copy of UO, and I should start playing on Thursday or Friday (I also get broadband on Friday! ) Any tips?
