i use to watch a cartoon much like heman i guess but it was a guy on a ship with a crew (i believe of four... can't really remember) and they sailed on the sea doing whatever they did... only they were always running away from some black goo in the sea which would try and kill them which originated from some other bad guys ship... any clue on helping me figure this one out would be much appriciated...

I also have another one much like postman pat which is about a huge machine in a small factory building... the machine made just about everything when you pushed a couple of buttons i think... but thats all i remember about that one as well... help would be grateful... im losing my mind at 20 now... haha...

In answer to your second question, it's Bertha, the lovely Bertha. Sometimes I think you're a dream...
Ahem, sorry.

The other one I only caught a couple of episodes of. It was Sinbad-esque, and had some sort of flying creature who was cowardly mostly. The black stuff seemed to make everything vanish I believe? For the life of me I can't put a name to the cartoon. I'll do some research..

I've hit a blank on the black ooze.
Damn.
I hate it when I don't know something I should.
As for Brave Star and Galaxy High, yeah, I remember. They used to order a lot of pizza in that school. Or was it one of the teachers LOOKED like pizza?

Okay, how does "The Fantastic Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor" sound? 26 episodes by Fred Wolf Films released in 1998.
Hopefully you'll say "Ah, yes!"
Fred Wolf Films were responsible for such cartoons as Budgie the Little Helicoptor, James Bond Jr. and the Chipmunks to name a few.

It's been a couple of months for this thread, but I think you're talking about "Dark Water," which was, in fact, a Sinbadesque (is that a word?) cartoon in the States.
