Just been hearing on Radio 4 'Today' programme that, with the current US banking crisis/Nortthern Rock etc, the price of gold is at an all-time high. It bis possible for an individual to buy gold by weight (i.e. in bars/ingots) especially at Asian jewellers in Southall, Middx ands .... (didn't catch this. Ws it the North-East
