The Bering Strait and Diomedes - 1994

0 Conversations

These photographs were taken in the Bering Strait and on the Diomedes by Richard Blanshard for the Ford London New York Overland Challenge that Richard (Presenter of Crossing The Boundary) organised in 1994 to coincide with the United Nations 50th Anniversary. Click here to find out more about Richard's Overland Challenge. Big Diomede (Russian) and Little Diomede (American) are the back doors of these two countries - they're less than two miles apart.
