When I used to watch ABC in the 80s as it was the ony thing that we could get in Papua New Guinea, this is what I remember.
Doctor Who, The Goodies, The Kenny Everett Show, Cities of Gold, Playschool, Sesame Street, Mother and Son (Aussie sit-com), James Valentine (Aussie Children's presenter), My Secret Valley, You can't do that on TV!, Dangermouse, The Wombles, Rhubarb and Custard, the News at 5.30 and Current Affars at 6 - or something like that.

You can't do that on TV! Love it.
That always makes me remember the original series' of Degrassi Junior high, for some reason.

Possibly as they were both Canadian and both shown on ABC?
