A Conversation for Baseball Teams of the American League

I can't think of a place I'd rather spend a Summer afternoon than sitting at a ballpark, drinking a beer and keeping score. It's heaven. Unfortunately I'm also a Tigers fan, so this same Elysium might actually be Hades. If you're not familiar with the Tigers' current (or is it decade-old?) woes then I envy you. If you are, please don't laugh at me.

altho i am a born and bred cardinals fan, in the course of researching this entry and talking with my friend elwood (U178938) i adopted the tigers as my pet american league team
hopefully i'll make it up there to a game next season
i did a bit more research last fall to prove that while the tigers may have been the worst team in '03, they were far from having the worst record in baseball (since the beginnings of the majors). i forget who that distinction went to, but i do remember that the cardinals were contenders.
go tigers!

Thanks for the support! The Tigers were a lot closer to infamy than you may realize. The record for losses in modern baseball belongs to the 1962 Mets who lost 120 games. The Tigers lost 119 last year and only managed to avoid 120 by winning 5 of their last 6 games. A truly agonizing season.
