The Sights of Paris in a Rush

Just wanted to say how fantastic the route planned above was! Me and my mum went for a weekend and managed to get round all of that in one day (with a bit of planning and the help of the metro!)

We had some fun with the metroe tickets tho, and furthur to previous information we found that it was cheaper to buy a 'mobilise'(think thats how you spell it) ticket, which was 5EUROS for the day approx for an adult and 3EUROS for myself, a university student under 26. It let us go on any route around paris, as many times as we wanted, all day. Pretty good value - it was reccommended by our hotel receptionist.

Also watch out for pickpockets on the metro stations, the ones near the eiffel tower were particularly bad - we caught a guy red handed with his hand in my mums bag! fortunately nothing was stolen though.

Finally, its worth noting that whilst the Louvre says its open unitl 10pm, it really isnt. We arrived at 6pm and found all the galleries were closed and that the gift shops were just about shutting up, all that was left was the cafe!

Had a turly fantstic time though, happy travels and hope this helps someone else!
