I think in the whole series (20 films)we see Bond reload his pistol about 5 times!!

He nearly always throws any gun away, if its out of ammo.

which probably explains why the british budget is always so scarce - all our spies are wasting money on guns

Actually Bond never throws away his own service pistol, he only throws away captured fire-arms that he took from his enemies anyway. Therefore it actually doesn't cost British Intelligence nearly as much for weaponry as his cars as he almost always suceeds in destroying them spectacularly!

This is true- Plus vairous boats, planes, helicopters - I wonder what would happen if they bombed the ministry of transport???
