Problems with toilet paper.

Toilet paper is very useful, but it has its problems too. Perhaps the main one is disposal. Whilst trekking in the Himalayas we were stongly urged to adopt the local method (a bucket of water and a jug available by every squat) as toilet paper clogged the primitive toilets and often ended up littering otherwise very beautiful areas. Plus the hassle of carrying it with you if it isn't locally obtainable. On the down side you get accustomed to feeling rather damp...

Thanks for sharing that.
We never travel without our toilet roll, but having said that we don't go outside European tourist resorts .... and *some* of them have very good flushes.
