I'm wanting to travel round NZ in June for a month - can anyone suggest a good route? Best places to see, good pubs to visit in said places etc etc? Also what's the temperature like in June? Twould be very helpful to gain some info methinks before heading off into the distant unknown....

You are aware that June is winter in NZ? The temperature varies according to the nature of the surroundings - as a general guide, in some areas the puddles freeze, in some areas they do not.
Your travel choices range from mountains (all over the place, but particularly in the South Island) to thermal regions (the most well known of which is Rotorua).
My preference is for this time of year (February/March).
