Wow, in Sardinia that ratio is just 2:1, and I thought *that* was a lot!
(Accidentally, it is estimated that also cellular phones outnumber humans by 2:1, although that may increase during summer holiday time.)

What is this fixation that people have in the Northern Hemisphere with sheep and New Zealanders/Australians? The NZ article thankfully avoided the tired old cliche. Do I detect a hint of jealousy amongst our northern siblings?
