Dame Edna and Sandy Stone

Although Dame Edna is known to millions (many more than know Barry Humphries, I'll wager), my personal favourite is Sandy Stone. The pictures painted in my head while listening to "The Life and Death of Sandy Stone" were vivid and, I'm sure, true to life.
Although watching "Temptation" (the new Sale of the Century) recently, I was moved to tears by the look on Dame Edna's face when the contestant was offered two tickets to one of her shows at a knock down price 
. Obviously the contestant was, too, because he insisted on paying an extra dollar over the agreed price.
