Dallas....Love it...:-)

My first serious introduction to the USA was this great Texas Town.....Aged 32, single, English and on expenses.....I had 10 weeks working there.....It may be the air, but sleep seemed to be the least of my requirements.........2am on a quiet night and 4+ on a good night, I did some serious partying.......and nothing but praise for Dallas Cops......they had me 'bang to rights' one night, laid out on the front seat of my car.....too bad to drive, lost and parked up, somewhere on Northwest highway.....I apologised in my best English, said I was lost and they gave me directions....'Ya go down Northwest, make a right on Central' (I was at the Holiday Inn Downtown)......were they just being friendly, couldn't be bothered with the paperwork booking a foreigner or just stupid?.......your call......anyway I made it....that night and many more.......There was a great run as you came off Central onto Elm (maybe)....If you get the first light green, you can blast all the way down to the H Inn at 60, catching all the lights.....WaaaaHoooooo.....smiley - smiley)).....

ps.....I don't do that stuff anymore......smiley - winkeye

pps.....Check out Milo Butterfingers on Yale and Greenville......A truly eclectic bar.....say Hi to Tom the manager......

Dallas....Love it...:-)
