Plans are already well under way to replace Fenway Park with a new facility in an adjoining lot. The Green Monster will remain as part of a museum of Red Sox history; a new Green Monster will be built into the new stadium, and so oriented that the Citgo sign will still be visible.

It's lovely to watch the reflection of the Citgo sign in the Charles River. I think the best view is probably from Cambridge. The colors blend and change quite beautifully.

I quite agree. The Citgo sign may be considered an accidental work of art, one that transcends its creators intentions and, somehow, brings beauty out of mere business. It's also fun to watch when the Red Sox games aren't going too well; any amusement I can find...
Peace,
Stephen
