A Conversation for Alternative Uses for Clothes Pegs
Wooden Roller Coasters

I'm going to reveal a little secret now!
I have been a member of two roller coaster enthusiasts' clubs. The memebrs of one of them had a secret way of protesting that not enough wooden coasters were being built (not official club policy, just an informal idea). This involved surreptitiously "pegging" an object in a theme park (with a wooden peg), and seeing how long the peg would remain there before a member of staff tidied it up. One person's peg stayed for over a year! Extra marks were scored for pegging difficult targets, such as the stem of a plant alongside the rapids ride... but obviously trespassing or other breaking of park rules was strictly forbidden, as we are law-abiding citizens.
It was all a harmless bit of fun, and if anyone has ever noticed wooden clothes pegs in odd places in theme parks... well, now you know who put them there!
Build more woodies!
