as a child my friends and i used to make guns out of pegs
1. take a piece of 2x4 or similar piece of wood
2. at one end attatch a wooden, spring peg with an elastic band, jaws toward the long end
3. dissmantle a few more pegs and keep the springs
4. attach an elastic band to the springs
5. loop the elastic band over the free end of the wood
6. pull the spring toward the peg and secure in the jaws
you now have a loaded weapon so be carefull
7. hold the wood like a rifle with the peg nearest you
8. point at a target
9. squeeze the peg to release the projectile
repeat step 5 to 9
don't shoot each other
as a kid way back before "health & safety" we didn't know better
