Hemp rope is probably the best material for any form of bondage, beit playful or serious, provided it has been treated correctly (mink oil or lots of fabric conditioner). It have no elsticity so doesn't tighten. Synthetic ropes are a huge no no as they have elasticity and can tighten - they also burn the subject.
