Why does it take longer with a postcode?
Elvis-Jnr Started conversation Jul 31, 2006
When I was in America a few years ago I sent 6 postcards back to the UK , for 3 of them I knew the postcode , for the other 3 I didn't. The 3 I sent without a postcode all arrived within a few days and the ones with took 3-4 weeks to arrive. Since then I have tried it on many occasions and the mail without postsodes always arrives faster. Why is this?

that is the wonder of the british postal service.
It could be because they arrive into the system from a different point, who knows ?!
