this was found in, or did you have to order it?
Oh, and are there any recipes for it?

The poly was found in Furys, Belvederes, and in fact all of the b-bodies and in quite a few others. It was the standard small block at the time.

Thank you.
I'm new to the whole Mopar culture thing.
I have an '83 Dodge Prospector Van with a 318 of some sort that I am slowly restoring to a wreck.

You have the 318LA or the fuel injected 5.2L, they are the same engine and easily fixable. Lots of parts are available.

It has a two-barrel Holley on it.

Good call on avoiding fuel injected. With carbed engines getting the first 500 horsepower is way easier, it's that extra 50 that make fuel injected cheaper for really fast cars.

I don't think our Kia Sportage with the sewing machine 4 gets anywhere near 500 horse.
And it's got computer-guided fuel rejection and a five speed stick.
Of course, since it weighs less than your average grocery cart...
and has the aerodynamics of a wet brick...
