What a terrific opportunity to get involved at a major sporting event. Getting to meet the athletes too. I'm so 
jealous.
Your entry really brought to life just what needs to happen behind the scenes in order for it to be a success. The Manchester Games were a brilliant success, and an awful lot of credit should go to the volunteers.

It's not too late to apply to be a volunteer at the Athens Olympics you know... I wanted to but I don't have the time or money to be travelling to Greece!

They're accepting applications for the 2012 London Olympics (if that's what's chosen as the location) now so head on over to their website (do a google) if you're interested.
