I've heard that 'skeeters don't like the blood of whisk(e)y drinkers.
Also, that if you notice one feeding on you, you can squeeze the vein to enlarge/pressurize it, and the pest will engorge to bursting.
Please check a number in the "A mosquito's bite" section: 5 ml of blood seems like an enourmous amount, relatively. (Or maybe i didn't see the decimal point)

Looks like you are correct. I just rechecked my source and it looks like they've changed this statement as well. It now says 5 MICROlitres for the A aegypti mosquito specifically. I don't remember them even mentioning a specific species so they seem to have corrected themselves. I'll drop a note to feedback re this.

Yea, I'm definitely feeling the effects of Petunia. There's not been any reply to my post in Feedback yet. I'm sure they'll get to it, but it's taking a LOT longer than it used to.
