A Conversation for Common Wrens

Excellent article, and very timely for me as I am knocking togethr a simple "bird-trail" for my granddaughter and one of the birds that we will be looking for is the wren.

I was in the Royal Navy and remember an edict coming out to the effect that female sailors were to be called WRNS (Womens Royal Naval Service)
and NOT WRENS! Suffice it to say that female sailors are still called Wrens (or Jennies)
