The Climax to the Stones' tour of the States in (1970?) was a free concert at Altomont, California. The Stones were making a film of the tour called Let it Bleed. The Stones asked the local Hells Angels to act as security. They were accused of many acts of brutality, but the worst was when a group of them beat a man to death with clubs. This could not be disputed as it was caught by the cameras there for the film
