A Conversation for Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers
Power Rangers in Hong Kong

When you wrote this entry, you were reminding me of the stinkin' japenese version translated to cantonese in Hong Kong. I remember my third aunt (on my mom's side) said to me this: Power Rangers in Japan are much better than the ones in US. So? What's the difference? I mean it's always the same process like the James Bond movies. In a James Bond movie, they're always like this: kiss, kiss, bang, bang, and the womanizer dates her in the end as we all know it. But in Power Rangers, it's always like this: few kids sit in a cafateria, fight monsters, talk, the leader warns them, transport, transform, robots turn into some giant robot, and kill the enemy. Is it always the same? YES! So why do they show it when there is no entertainment in it? I watched it in 2nd grade and then fell asleep in the middle of the show. So what's the difference between the Japanese one and the American one? Well... All I can say is the Japanese one has asians in it dressed in silver. So my reason is: What's so entertaining?
