...and one which I could barely add to myself. However, I am obliged to ask if an article has yet been written on Paradise Lost? I would very much like to assist if such an article has not yet been forthcoming.
Your obedient servant.

Mr. Milton:
(good name)
Thank you. I'm glad you liked the entry.
There is not now an Edited Entry on Paradise Lost and I'm certainly not planning one myself. I do encourage you to get at it!

Why thank you, Anhaga! I am something of a scatterbrain about these things, but should I get the right motivation (such as a bit of nagging from the woman in my life) it's entirely possible that I will get cracking!
And I do like your name - a wonderful Anglo-Saxon name taken, perhaps, from the beatiful poem 'The Wanderer'? (I am no great scholar in this field, but I have always appreciated this haunting remembrance of times past...)
Your faithful and obedient servant.

Please, I don't need any servants.
Yes, you have my name correctly interpreted.
I would be interested in seeing your treatment of Paradise Lost; please keep me posted.
Yours, faithfully standing and waiting.

Ah, Anhaga, I complete my writing in such a manner because it seems to me a rather charming idiosyncracy - it emphasises that, though I have been a teacher in my time, I consider it my purpose to serve enlightenment rather than to master pupils.
Your idiosyncratic servant.

Key: Complain about this post
