I just received a postcard with an ID that doesn't come up on postcrossing I've followed what it says to do next but am still worried. Should I be?

No don't be worried - I often forget to put the postcard ID on mine. Even after all this time.

Thing is it did have an ID but it didn't register with the system.

Oh sorry!
In the past I've used their facility for identifying postcards - have you tried that?
And I once had a message on my space there mentioning that I'd got a card with a wrong ID and the guy contacted me with the right one.
Apart from that, there's not much you can do, except find the members from that country and contact each one...

Yes I've tried that method. I'll wait and see what happens. Hopefully it's nothing dodgy.
