Excellent entry!
The harness used for a ferret can get some rather strange looks from people in the neighborhood. I have done this with my ferret and found stares ended with one of my world famous polite smile-nods and a rude comment.
'What have you never seen a ferret on a leash before?!'
Wonderful entry. Really makes me remember my little guy. I remember all he ever did was like to go in holes. It was almost impossible to get him out from under the fabric of the couch
