h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I read that Maxis is working on a new EP called The Sims - Makin' Magic (working title). As the name suggests, your Sims will now be able to play with magic, spells, potions, etc.

I'm also anticipating the release of The Sims 2, which is supposed to be entirely 3-D.
I'm so addicted to this game!!

i have a love-hate relationship with the sims. on the one hand, i hate it that it (and the expansion sets!) take up an incredible 3.68 gigs of my hard disk space (!!!); on the other hand, it's a game i can't really stop playing. i resolved that when makin' magic came out that i wouldn't buy it because i had enough sim on my computer; my resolve caved in about four weeks after it was released because i was itching to see the sims do magic. so -

the fact that 'makin' magic' is the very last expansion set does nothing to console me because hot on its heels will be 'the sims 2', and before you know it, it will be expansion pack hell all over again
