A Conversation for Baldur's Gate - the Computer Game Series
Neverwinter Nights

Just wanted to add to this article, there is a further expansion ot the Baldur's gate series, called Neverwinter Nights. It's really more a computerized D&D system than a game--instead of having a set storyline the way the Baldur's Gate games do, players can create their own worlds and stories, or play on those created by other people. However, it is possible to import a Baldur's Gate character into Neverwinter Nights.
Also, Neverwinter Nights is fully three-dimensional, rather than isometric like Baldur's gate. Not that this is a better or worse thing, just a difference.

Originally they were going to let you import your character from Baldurs Gate 2 (and it even says so in the game), but they changed their collective minds before Neverwinter was released. I wish they'd make a Baldurs Gate 3.
Oh well.
