for all, including the Queen in the backlog (I bet that will cause a few turnovers)
This morning I noticed Ken Weatherwax, actor, who played Pugsley Addams in the original Addams Family TV series. Younger than me by a few months, he didn't survive a heart attack

Fond memories of that show, including the debate between my parents over whether we were allowed to watch it or not (I was, my younger siblings weren't).

He did a good job on that show. I was sorry to find out that he could not land later roles.
It amazed me that Ruby Keeler was his aunt. She came out of retirement to revive "Non No, Nanette" on Broadway in 1972. Her first husband was Al Jolson, who was well-known in his youth, but probably few people today have even heard of him.

There are people who haven't heard of Al Jolson?! I couldn't name you one of his songs, but surely people still known the name.

Yes, it rings bells, but I'm a . I used to have a much younger co-worker who had never heard of Jack Benny . Woody Allen seems intent on keeping Groucho's memory alive, but after Woody is gone, who will have heard of Groucho among the young?

Oh, Groucho Marx has a place among film buffs. Besides, everybody loves a good comedy line, and Groucho had hundreds of them.

I remember "You bet your life," the TV quiz show that Groucho did in the 1950s. The thing is, Groucho looked like one of my uncles. I started wondering what it would be like if Groucho was my uncle...
